Library and Information Services (LIS) is transforming the University’s digital library services with a new integrated platform.
The new Alma library services platform will improve library management and workflows, while Primo will provide a modern, single search interface for discovering physical and digital resources, including eBooks, journals, scholarly articles, study materials, and research resources.

- The library account allows students to access various digital resources, such as e-books, online journals, databases, and academic articles.
- They can also RENEW borrowed items before the due date if needed.
- Students can reserve books that are currently checked out by other users.
- Once the book is returned, it will be held for the student who made the reservation.
- Students can view any outstanding fines or fees associated with overdue books

- Each year, TUT Libraries host orientation sessions for incoming students at the start of the academic year.

- EBSCOhost Passport, now available as a Chrome Extension and a Microsoft Edge Add-on, makes research simpler and more efficient for end users by dynamically inserting links to full text in virtually any web page where DOIs are present.
- EBSCOhost Passport does this by scanning the page for DOIs, then checking if the user has access to the article either in an EBSCOhost full-text database, through a subscribed journal at the publisher site or available as Open Access.
